3D house

This is my 3D house that i made in 3D max. its green :], when we did this we were experiment what we could make with just one object which was to be a house so what i basically did was draw out a box and started poking, what i was tort was click on the object we wanted which was a square then went on to an extra menu were you can choose the amount of square blocks for height and wight. once selected i drew out my box, i was then able to select individual blocks were i can select one or by holding down shift and clicking on multiple blocks i could move a group of blocks through this process i was able to indent windows, door and pull out an extra room. when working on the roof i found it a little more irrating, i pulled out a little extra level for a roof and then were you can select squares to strech out i changed it so you can select the edge  of a block and strech it out which i then shaped into roof like shape and then using the tool to strech out a chimny and indent a roof window.

if i was to compare this to a professional example i would compare mine to a child drawing. with the lack of detail and different varation of colours it just don't feel that special.

when i showed off this model to other people they wasn't that impressed with the work they critized that it was to plane and simple.

the things that need to be improved with this work is colour it needs more different colour and i would change it to look more bonkers, more luderacozed.

on this project i learned how to indent and pull out blocks and the amount of square blocks you can have on a object.

Robo

This is my design of a furturistic warfare robot called the berserker, it was orignaly designed to be an exo-skelton suit, with one arm being an weapon and the other being a hand with the pioleting seat in the belly of the berserker. this whole design is made up of the following shapes: Pyrmaid, sphere, cylinder, squares. i started with the main body of my design, so i started with a sphere and flattened the front and back so it wouldn't look like some over-weight berk and for the head i made a smaller sphere and phased it into the main body and for the eyes i made one cylinder and made a hole in the middle to make it look like an eye skoets then to create another i used a neat copy trick were i hold down shift and click on the cylinder and dragged anotherone out creating my head. withthat done i started work on the arms, when working on the right arm which i decided to be the weaponized arms so i made a sphere for the sholder that would contect the arm to the weapon, the weapons was designed to have firing charatisicts as well as melee attachment, for the left arm it was the basic same design as the right arm except for this one would have a hand so for the left hand  i created a sphere  and streched it out giving a sauage look then for the finger tips created incredible fin square and used the shift+move techniuqe a full set. for the legs i created the lego man waste using a cylinder and sphere and for the legs i used cylinders as legs, spheres as joints for the pyrmaid feet.

I found this whole experince to be the most challenging thing i've done so far considering how major this project  was and it was my first time on 3D studio max , it was so hard trying to remeber all the tools, buttons, and the variation of effects you can have on each shape, it was murder to stay focus.

comparing this to a professinal example is like comparing twins there simular but there different none the less, i feel my robot design is kind of plane.
If i was to improve on this i would spend a bit more time on it, i feel that maybe i could done better in some areas and maybe made it a bit more futuristic. wha i would of done differently was balacaned out the legs and change the facial looks to more scary and made it look less chubby looking.
when over people sore my work they inpressed to the amount of work i put into it and the detail and that mine was better.
for me i learned a great amount of infomation from 3D studio max with the things you can do and create how it works.
