3D studio max house model video

Here is my model of a 3d house enviroment, what i did here was going towards the major projects of designing buildings around the area of salt aire for the client Steven Bottoms.

What i did to start off with was draw out a plane and in bedded an image of a floor plan of a house then what i did was drew out more planes for the bits that would be the walls. Once drew out all the walls for the house i started on inteir decarating, i drew out couches, beds, a carpet, a TV, a hot tub and a stripper pole and also an outside enviroment. After i drew in everything I in bedded image into all the drawn object to make it lokk more realistic. Once i finished my house i did a bit of filming having a look around the house showing off what i did.

I didn't find this much of a challenge, I pritty much had the idea of what i wanted and what i was aiming for and i pritty much knew what i needed to do to a complish this.

I feel that if i needed to improve my work that maybe i could go into more detail.

comparing this to prof's example I would say its 50/50.

another team meeting...

In our team meeting today we decuss as a group what order and how we would present our key locations. For our start point we decided that it was going to be hirst lock, for the camera we fought we could use an eagle so it would fly around the area, from hirst lock the camera would go all the way down towards shipley wharf, do this would get the canal bit out of the way so we can consentrate on all the buildings, from shipley wharf we move over to the warehouse were we do some sort of video profile over this building, then we we move to the church were will do another video profile and the same thing with the music shop, salts/new mill and then we shall finish of with the sir titus salt feast.

Primary photography research

05/12/2012-on this day i want out around the area of shipley college to do some primary research for my group, what i did was went out and took some photos of some buildings that we would be working on for our client Steven Bottoms. Being able to do this real helps with the project because as well as getting better detailed photos and different points of prospective we are able to get a better look at the building, to see how its structured, a better understanding which really helps with constructing these buildings on 3D studio max.
Getting a better look at these buildings i was lucky enough to be able to go into some of these buildings which also helps with when we need to design the inside of these buildings.

1st Arcade review (beta)

Arcade games are as not as up to date, well detail in graphics and story but are still fun and are still here, in the 1900's was when arcade games were first created and from there they were have grown and expanded into such wonderous simulations games.
Arcade games today: arcade games today are mostly just simulations from car racing to first person shooter, arcade games are the only type of videogame media that can actually put you really close to the action, to something that seems really, arcade game make things seem more real then any over types of platforms, example; time crisis is a first person shooter game, this arcade game give you two pistols for two players and two metal pedals to take cover and puts you in a shoot out.
What draws them in: Above the arcade game is the title of the game presented very clear and noticeable for the public to see and to be attracted to, on the screen of the arcade shows you a demo of the game its self, it shows you what you could and acomplish, it shows you how to play with clear and simple instuctions and simple actions to follow. As well as all that there's loud pounding music to pull you in, to keep you intrested while you wait, to get you into the mood.
Profit: Some arcade games (in my opinion) are just tools to gain money quick and easy. people consistantly waste their money in order to get some sense of accomplishment out of it, when people play these particular arcade games they can't stand losing so they keep on wasting their money in order to win something to try and get something out of it and eventually when they win something they get this sense of accomplishment out of and they feel the need to play again and again in order to get something even more out of it.

limits: unfortunaly arcade games aren't as handheld and light as a game boy or PSP for the free roaming capability they provide, they are far to big and blucky, thankfully some of these arcade game can be bought and placed in your homes, there are even high tech racing simulations that can be bought. some of these arcade game can even be bought for the console such as; the time crisis series, metal slug and so on.
